Privacy Policy

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Finch does not collect or store any sensitive data. Collected data is limited to anonymized data from advertising portals and client name, company, email, and billing address. Additionally, Finch has fewer than 250 employees and does not collect or process any data that poses any risk to any individual’s privacy.

What does Finch use your information for?

Finch only collects information from you when you register on its site, subscribe to one of its newsletters, or fill out a form.

When registering on the Finch site or entering into a subscription agreement, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and credit card information. You may, however, visit the Finch site anonymously. See the finch.com cookie use policy below.

Any of the information Finch collects from you may be used to improve customer service, send periodic emails, or let you opt in or out of  periodic newsletters. A newsletter subscription is at your preference and can be self administered at any time using the link at the bottom of the email.

The email address you provide may be used to send you information, respond to inquiries, and/or other requests or questions.

How does Finch protect your information?

Finch has implemented a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of any personal information that you choose to submit

Finch uses an encrypted browser connection (https://) to protect all sensitive information. All supplied sensitive and/or credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into the Finch database to be accessed only by those authorized with special access rights to Finch systems and required to keep the information confidential. Credit card information is stored and processed only through a well-known, PCI-compliant third-party processor.

Does Finch use cookies?

Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enable the sites or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.

Finch uses cookies to understand and save your preferences for future visits and compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that it can offer better site experiences in the future. You are free to visit the site anonymously or delete or restrict the use of cookies; however, this may change site functionality

Does Finch disclose any information to outside parties?

Finch does not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating the Finch website, conducting business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. Finch may also release your information when it believes releasing it is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce site policies, or protect Finch’s or others’ rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

California Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

Because Finch values your privacy, it takes the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. Finch therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.

Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

Finch complies with the requirements of Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA); it does not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. The Finch website, products, and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.

Website Privacy Policy Only

This online privacy policy applies only to information collected through the Finch website and not to information collected offline or through the Finch online application. Note that the Finch application has its own terms of use, and becoming a Finch client requires a separate subscription agreement.
